It’s official! I’m a PowerShell MVP! I received this email via my spam folder this morning.
Dear Adam Driscoll,
Congratulations! We are pleased to present you with the 2013 Microsoft® MVP Award! This award is given to exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. We appreciate your outstanding contributions in PowerShell technical communities during the past year.
I’m excited to join the ranks of some of the smartest people I know. I’m also very grateful for the community and the existing MVPs who made this possible.
How I got here:

October 2012 – Released my first book: Microsoft Windows PowerShell 3.0 First Look
Late 2012 – Wrote a chapter for the PowerShell Deep Dives book
2012 - 61 blog posts with over 77,000 visitors

Hey Adam, that’s great news! Congratulations and welcome to the club!
FYI, I think your spell checker may have messed up Dmitry’s last name in this blog post. It’s Sotnikov, not Sotnovik.
Happy New Year!
Kirk out.
Thank you, Kirk! And nice catch on Dmitry’s name. Corrected
This is awesome news and well deserved title! I guess this is great way to start new year.
Thank you, Bartek!
